Miami’s real estate market is hot and high these days. Yet another example of that is a new project called Museu which to be developed on a 2.5-acre parking lot at 520 Biscayne Boulevard (map), a lot which is owned by Miami Dade College. The development involves twin towers with condo/hotel units and luxury residential condo units, and a Latin American Art Museum, a 1,600-seat theater and a conference center at the base.
This project was designed by Fernando Romero and was commission by Roberto Rocha, who is Former president of the Related Group and the Miami based Gary Nader Art Centre. It is an unsolicited project, which means that the Miami Dade College may entertain other projects as well.
