One of the bigger challenges of designing a skyscraper is where to leave the cars. The main options are to build a deep underground parking garage (which is expensive), have one in the lower levels of the skyscraper (which is ugly), or build one next to the skyscraper (which is ugly and defies the idea of a skyscraper).
Designing pretty ones to deal with the ugliness, or implement automated ones to save space are strategies to deal with these issues, but again these are expensive solutions.
Enter the Carousel. Above is a video showing the assembling of a Ferris wheel for cars in just 5 days, which comes with the added bonus of looking pretty cool. And yes, I know these things have been around for a while, but what you didn’t know is that you can just go to Alibaba.com and order one online. If you happen to be a car collector living downtown, get one now!
