We’re a big fan of flickcities and flickscrapers, but with all the focus on Star Wars: Episode VII and with that trailer containing no sign of cityness watsoever, today we look at a video game trailer.
According to the project website, Manifold Garden, as the game is called, “is an exploration puzzle game that imagines a universe with a different set of physical laws. Set in an Escher-esque world filled with secrets and mysteries, you utilize a unique gravity manipulation mechanic to turn walls into floors. Learn to see the world through whole new perspectives as you navigate mind-boggling architecture and solve seemingly impossible puzzles.” This reminds me a bit of that popular Monument Valley game, but the preview suggests something far more bigger.
Here is the trailer and some more screen shots:
Here is a 16-minute video of screen shots made during the production process which started in November 2013. This goves you a bit more of an idea what kind of game, and how large the game’s world this is going to be. I cannot tell of this game is going to suitable for a VR environment, but that would be awesome. More: manifold.gardenshare this!
