Two clumsy guys and a skyscraper under construction. What could go wrong?

Having another bad weather weekend? We’re here to help. Liberty is a short comedy film starring Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy as escaped convicts. While in the getaway car they change clothes (for reasons that only make sense in a Laurel & Hardy movie) after which they wind up on a skyscraper construction site (like only Laurel & Hardy can).

I’ll be the first to admit that it takes a certain mood to appreciate a Laurel & Hardy movie, preferable involving anything containing alcohol, and perhaps this is not a Harold Lloyd classic, you might enjoy the film anyway since this is only a short one (29 minutes), it was the last silent film by Laurel & Hardy and for knowing that they performed all the stunts themselves at their own risk (on wooden mock-up assembled on the roof of an already existing structure in Culver City, California). Best reason to watch it: you can do so for free on Youtube.
